La Palombara is a traditional house lying in the tranquil foothills of Monte San Vicino in the Marche region of Italy. La Palombara offers accommodation for up to 8 people, it provides large attractive terraced gardens, bocce court, and a large 5.5m by 12m swimming pool.  

Acclaimed in the press as 'One of Italy's' secrets', Le Marche lies to the east of Umbria between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea. The region has a beauty all of its own. Its cuisine, culture, architecture and scenery rival that of the neighbouring regions of Tuscany and Umbria. The villa is 45 minutes from Ancona airport, 45/60 minutes from a variety of coastal resorts on the Adriatic, 40 minutes from Macerata with it's acclaimed summer Opera season.

La Palombara is situated directly on the Verdicchio wine trail and close to the picturesque Lago di Cingoli with a large freshwater lake with swimming, pedalos and beach areas for sun-bathing. Other attractions include the famous limestone caves of Frasassi and the hilltop town of Cingoli, locally known as the 'Balcony of the Marche' because of it's extensive views over the centre of the region stretching from  Senigallia in the North, past  Monte Conero to Porto Recanati on the  Adriatic coastline to the South.
